Learning to sail has been the dream of many people.
Sara Bay Sailing School, an affiliate of the American Sailing Association (ASA),
is offering sailing classes on the Gulf Coast, Sarasota - Bradenton area. Classes
are geared to the adult student with no previous sailing experience, and to the
more experienced sailor looking for ASA certification.
- Courses are taught in Sarasota Bay and offshore in the
Gulf of Mexico aboard a Cal 24' a Catalina 22 a Nightwind 35 and a Jenneau 36 by ASA certified instructors. We
are currently offering the ASA-101, ASA-103 and ASA-104 courses.
- Captained Charters are offered by Sara Bay Sailing for
half-day or full day sailing. Sara Bay Sailing also offers
- Sailboat rentals for day sailing for those with sufficient
sailing skills or completion of the Basic Coastal Cruising Certififcation is required for day
sailing rentals.
